Nostalgia 77

I love any kind of noticeable jazz influence in music.

Nostalgia 77 is a studio project gives the genre a contemporary feel.

It's run by a Brit named Benedic Lamdin, who creates his own stuff as well as collaborates with tons of other artists.  "Simmerdown" features Josa Peit.  You can find the song on Nostalgia 77's new album, The Sleepwalking Society, which was released last month.

Ah, I love it.

The American Dollar

Sometimes it's nice to not have words.
It provides a different perspective compared to today's popular music.
I think The American Dollar nails it.

Although I love live video recordings, this clip really captures the music's essence.  

From their album, A Memory Stream, "Anything You Synthesize" creatively interprets its mood through the video, created by One Size Video Production. 

And this kid... he spent 18 hours total creating this.  Impressive.

Fallulah

She's fantastic. In every way possible.

I don't know if it's her jazzy vibrato or her amazing fashion sense.

All I know is that I'm glad I stumbled upon Fallulah's video on YouTube. 

It was filmed on a rooftop in Copenhagen.  Oh, Denmark.

I would sing this every day if I knew everyone around me wouldn't kill me.

Horse Feathers

It's really all about the instruments.

If you throw in a ton of instruments, each given an intricate part to play...

you'll have me hooked.

Plus, there's nothing like feel-good music. Live.

Found Horse Feathers awhile ago; some music I like more so than others.
I like "Waltz." I like "Waltz" a lot.

Fang Island

Never heard of these guys before. 

Their name is what drew me in... Fang Island.

Alright, maybe it's not that cool.

But their video for "Daisy" is.

It's just the beginning...

When I heard this for the first time this weekend on the radio, I was entranced.
Beastie Boys' new album is coming...
